Introduction: Sailing from Iceland across the Denmark Strait, this 10 day expedition cruise focuses on the Eastern and Southern coastlines of Greenland. A variety of wildlife exists along these shores, such as Harp Seals, Ringed Seals, Musk Oxen, Beluga Whales and an abundance of birdlife. The expedition ship will serve as our home, providing comfortable sleeping and eating arrangements as well as educational lectures given by renowned biologists and zoologists. Presentations include the Arctic environment, its climate and wildlife, and how important its role is on the rest of the planet. We will spend as much time ashore as possible using specially built landing craft called Zodiacs. This gives us more chance of spotting wildlife and the experience of walking on pack ice and getting a true sense of this amazing, yet hostile environment. Greenland is an experience that will stir the emotions and one that you will stay for you forever.
