Essential Equipment List
Luggage should be restricted to a frameless backpack, which must not
weigh more than 20kgs (ideal – 15kg). We recommend a backpack
over a suitcase for ease of transportation.

Insurance Policy/Student ID/Copies of Passport, Visa and Insurance
(better still, scan these and email it to your web-based email account
for access anywhere in the world)

- Heat Proof Mug, own tea/coffee/creamer/sugar
- Electrical adapters (Russia and Mongolia use standard 220V European
plugs. China uses 110v American-style flat pin plugs)
- Ear Plugs
- Ladies should bring a headscarf as it is required in all churches,
mosques and temples
- Handy to bring toilet roll/tissues

- Long trousers and jog pants for lounging around the train
