This flexible package is aimed at self-drive families that want to explore the country concentrating on the wilderness areas. All stops are spectacularly located, and most are far away from the hustle and bustle of cities. Flying into Johannesburg, your journey then takes you to the Balule Nature Reserve with game drives and walks included. Then explore Blyde River Canyon, Pilgrims Rest and God's Window en route to Hazyview, located in close proximity to the world renowned Kruger National Park. A day is spent in Kruger, game viewing and trying to spot the Big 5, before your adventure ends back in Johannesburg. Please note that the itinerary is a guide only, and tours can be tailored to your requirements.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: This package is designed for more adventurous families who do not wish to be stuck in cities, preferring to visit more remote wilderness areas. Credit cards are generally accepted in South Africa, BUT NOT FOR FUEL PURCHASES. Automatic Teller Machines are, however, common. Seasonal Malaria precautions are advised for clients visiting the Kruger and Zululand areas. Not included in this package are fuel deposits, one way drop off fees, airport surcharges, lunches and dinners except at the Drifters Game Lodge, entrance fees, fuel, oil, drinks, and other expenses of a personal nature. Days spent at Drifters Game Lodge will be on a full board basis and will include two game activities a day (walks or drives). Prices are based on a minimum of 2 people travelling together. Families of 4 or 5 will be upgraded to a Group S vehicle. Please note that there are some additional charges which must be paid locally directly to Europcar, detailed in the tour dossier
