Introduction:
This short adventure reveals a hidden side to Central America. Travelling from the lush countryside of Costa Rica, dotted with coffee plantations and rainforest and on to the little known yet unforgettable country of Nicaragua with its beautiful freshwater lake, grumbling volcanoes and surfing beaches. Next comes Honduras, the home of the cool, highland town of Copan and its Mayan ruins, before rounding off in Antigua, Guatemala, the historic city of cobbled streets, crumbling cathedrals and colourful markets.
