Introduction:
The cloudforest ecosystem cloaks the steep slopes of the Andes at an altitude of between 900 and 2500 metres. It is forest of high biodiversity with a profusion of bird, plant and animal species. The lodge is situated at the southern edge of the Choco/Andean rainforest in an internationally recognised wildlife hotspot region.
