Discover Tibet with Kumuka
Tibet lies at the centre of Asia, with an area
of 2.5 million square kilometers. The earth's highest mountains,
a vast arid plateau and great river valleys make up the physical
homeland of 6 million Tibetans. This fantastic 12-Day tour starts
in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, where we apply for our Tibetan
visa. Our first stop in Tibet is Lhasa, the capital, and once
home to the Dali Lama.
Add to this a trek to the base camp of Quomolangma (Mt. Everest),
a tour of Potala Palace, the Summer Palace and magical views of
the Himalaya, the highest mountain range on the planet. Kumuka
aims to give you the complete experience of Tibet and its ancient
culture.
Please note: Kumuka's tour
of Tibet visit's remote locations, therefore accommodation can
be basic.
