Brigitte Atterton says:

Having travelled the world since a very young age, and having dealt with many tour & travel agencies, I have never encountered such an incredible team as we experienced with Kumuka. A few problems were encountered due to our travel agency, but it was no problem for Kumuka to go to great lengths to correct these problems on the agencies behalf. The extra attention to service and details for our tour, including the arrangements of our beautiful "wedding vow renewal" ceremony with the Masaii Mara, was one of the most beautiful experiences of our travels, this tour has changed our lives, and as it was my dream holiday to visit Africa, I cannot thankyou enough for making my every wish come true. I look forward to using Kumuka for any and all our travel arrangements in future, and in recommending them to anyone who may be interested in travel, expecially to Kenya.  A dream of a lifetime was not only fulfilled but far surpassed in the amazing adventure that Kumuka made available to us. We travelled to areas of Kenya we only ever dream't about, the guides and staff went beyond any possible expectations to ensure that our holiday encaptured the true face of the many beautiful people and surroundings this amazing country has to offer. We cannot praise the team highly enough - thankyou for ever and till the next time!

Introduction: Kenya - home to Africa's Big 5 and also home to the famous Masai tribe who dot the landscape in their colourful red robes whilst tending their herds of cattle. On this action packed tour we have the chance to feed giraffes, watch baby elephants at an elephant orphanage, meet Morani, an orphaned tamed black rhino, and visit a chimpanzee sanctuary. There are game drives in Olpejeta Game Sanctuary and Samburu Reserve where we look for cheetah and leopard, a boat trip on Lake Naivasha, and a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park - famous for its pink flamingos. We visit one of Kenya's most famous parks and the 7th wonder of the world - the Masai Mara, where game drives take us in search of the Big 5 - lion, leopard, rhino, buffalo, elephant plus a multitude of other game and amazing birdlife. August to October sees the annual wildebeest migration, a sight to behold offering memories to last a lifetime. As part of this journey, children will receive complimentary membership of the Adventurers' Club which offers many exciting activities whilst in camp, such as helping to build a mini Masai home, learning to make fire by rubbing two sticks together as well as educational activities to learn about the environment and surrounding landscape.

Please note that the child price is only applicable for children under 12 sharing a room with 2 adults, with a maximum of 1 child per room. If children are in a separate room, or if 1 child is sharing with only 1 adult, then the adult price applies.

Please note that peak season prices apply to tours coinciding with the Christmas and New Year period or with Easter.
