21 May 2008, the Ecuadorian Health Ministry recommended yellow
fever vaccinations for all travellers to the provinces of Morono-Santiago,
Napo, Orellana, Pastaza, Zamora-Chinchipe and Sucumbíos in the
Amazon basin.
Following 2 deaths from Yellow Fever in Brazil,
the Brazilian authorities have issued a Yellow Fever health
alert. We strongly recommend that you talk to your GP or a
Travel Clinic to confirm whether a Yellow Fever vaccination is recommended
or required for your trip. The cities of Rio de Janeiro and Salvador

Costa Rican authorities have recently announced that
a Yellow Fever certificate is required for travellers arriving from

Bolivian authorities have recently announced that
all Yellow Fever vaccination certificates are required for all travellers
arriving from Brazil and/ or Paraguay.
US citizens travelling to Bolivia will require a Yellow Fever vaccination
certificate. Vaccination is recommended for citizens of other countries
visiting parts of Bolivia where there is a risk of transmission. Please

Argentinean authorities say that yellow fever vaccination
should be given to travellers visiting the regions of Argentina bordering
Paraguay and Brazil in the provinces of Chaco, Corrientes, Formosa,
Salta provinces and to all areas of Misiones province, including Iguaçu
Falls. This includes tours SA6/ SA06/ SA6R/ SA7/ SA07/ SA7R/ SA29/ SA029/
SA29R/ SAAR2.
