Introduction: An epic journey that follows the classic overland route from the ancient civilisations of Egypt to the game parks of Kenya. Starting in Cairo we cross the Western Desert
to Luxor and Aswan. Here we explore the temples of the Pharaohs and sail along the Nile by felucca, before taking the ferry across Lake Nasser into Sudan. In
Sudan we see the Pyramids of Meroe and the capital Khartoum, before our journey continues into Ethiopia. Ethiopia is a stunning and fascinating country offering
chances to see churches carved into the mountains, monasteries, waterfalls and gorges, and the Simien Mountains. Crossing into northern Kenya there are game drives in Samburu National Park, views of Mt Kenya and the end of our adventure in Nairobi.
